I have been struggling with bulimia for several years now. I have seen God heal in my life before, please pray with me that he would heal me and release me from the burden of this disease. Please pray that I would be faithful in prayer and would not grow bitter or lose hope when I do not see God working.

Pray for our country, and the leadership, to continue to put our needs above political ambitions.
Lord, give us grace when dealing with those who see things differently than us.

Please pray for our nation as we come to grips with the darkness in our midst and in ourselves. Pray that God will help us confront this darkness and enact meaningful change to diminish it and prevent its growth.
Also pray for renewal for all of those worn down by the pandemic and (what feels like) constant emergencies.

Let's pray for the essential workers in our community. In particular, I'm thinking about our grocery store workers, delivery drivers, custodians, and small restaurant owners. It's so easy for me to take for granted the convenience that comes because of so many in our community who are serving me, and often overworking and being underpaid. I am praying for:
1. God to be with them and their families, keeping them healthy and safe
2. For our community to be generous and kind to them
3. For our business and government leaders to wisely and lovingly consider them as they enact policies

Let's remember to pray for K-12 students and teachers this week, whether they resume online learning and teaching or in-person learning. Pray for students to have motivation, energy to engage, and to know that they are not alone. Pray for teachers to have the endurance and energy they need as they keep altering plans while also seeking to communicate to each student the value each one has. Pray for God to encourage all students and teachers in these tough times.

Please pray for our granddaughter Emmie Sederquist. We are again at the point of steroid removal that in the past has brought about serious relapse. Pray that the reduction of steroids would be successful. Pray also for the anxiety the past history of this phase has on Callie and David, her parents. Her liver enzymes are also elevated at this point. Ultimately pray for her complete healing and a vitality of life enjoyed by a normal 5 year old little girl.
