Praise Team: Andy Kim (piano), Lukas Spies (accordian), Conrad Milton (saxophone), Amy Jaeger (vocals)

Pastors: Bryan Scott & Steve Jaeger

Call to Worship: Psalm 47

Based on Psalm 146

Leader: Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord, my soul.

People: I will praise the Lord all my life; I will sing praise to my God as long as I live.

Leader: Do not put your trust in princes, in human beings, who cannot save.
When their spirit departs, they return to the ground; on that very day their plans come to nothing.

People: Blessed are those whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the Lord their God.

Leader: He is the Maker of heaven and earth, the sea, and everything in them. He remains faithful forever.

People: He upholds the cause of the oppressed and gives food to the hungry.

Leader: The Lord sets prisoners free. The Lord gives sight to the blind. The Lord lifts up those who are bowed down.

People: The Lord loves the righteous.

Leader: The Lord watches over the foreigner and sustains the fatherless and the widow, but he frustrates the ways of the wicked.

All: The Lord reigns forever, your God, O Zion, for all generations. Praise the Lord!

Psalm 119:105-117

Your word is a lamp for my feet light on my path. I have taken an oath and confirmed it, that I will follow your righteous laws. I have suffered much; preserve my life, Lord, according to your word. Accept, Lord, the willing praise of my mouth, and teach me your laws. Though I constantly take my life in my hands, I will not forget your law. The wicked have set a snare for me, but I have not strayed from your precepts. Your statutes are my heritage forever; they are the joy of my heart. My heart is set on keeping your decrees to the very end.

Matthew 7:24

Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.

2 Timothy 3:14-17

But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of, because you know those from whom you learned it, and how from infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

2 Peter 1:20-21

Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet’s own interpretation of things. For prophecy never had its origin in the human will, but prophets, though human, spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.

Song of Worship: Salvation is Here

Verse 1

God above all the world in motion
God above all my hopes and fears
And I don’t care
What the world throws at me now
I’m gonna be alright

Verse 2

Hear the sound of the generations
Making loud their freedom song
All in all that the world
Would know Your name
We’re gonna be alright

Chorus

‘Cause I know my God saved the day
And I know His word never fails
And I know my God made a way for me

Bridge

Salvation is here
Salvation is here and He lives in me
Salvation is here
Salvation that died just to set me free
Salvation is here
Salvation is here and He lives in me
Salvation is here
‘Cause You are alive and You live in me

Bridge

Salvation is here
Salvation is here and He lives in me
Salvation is here
‘Cause You are alive and You live in me

Song of Worship: This I Believe (The Creed)

Verse 1

Our Father everlasting
The all creating One
God Almighty
Through Your Holy Spirit
Conceiving Christ the Son
Jesus our Savior

Chorus 1

I believe in God our Father
I believe in Christ the Son
I believe in the Holy Spirit
Our God is three in One
I believe in the resurrection
That we will rise again
For I believe in the Name of Jesus

Verse 2

Our judge and our defender
Suffered and crucified
Forgiveness is in You
Descended into darkness
You rose in glorious life
Forever seated high

Bridge

I believe in You
I believe You rose again
I believe that Jesus Christ is Lord

Chorus 2

I believe in life eternal
I believe in the virgin birth
I believe in the saints’ communion
And in Your holy Church
I believe in the resurrection
When Jesus comes again
For I believe in the Name of Jesus

Song of Worship: Jesus Paid It All

Verse 1

I hear the Saviour say
Thy strength indeed is small
Child of weakness watch and pray
Find in Me thine all in all

Chorus

Jesus paid it all
All to Him I owe
Sin had left a crimson stain
He washed it white as snow

Verse 2

Lord now indeed I find
Thy power and Thine alone
Can change the leper’s spots
And melt the heart of stone

Verse 3

For nothing good have I
Whereby Thy grace to claim
I’ll wash my garments white
In the blood of Calvary’s Lamb

Verse 4

And when before the throne
I stand in Him complete
Jesus died my soul to save
My lips shall still repeat

Benediction

After the conclusion of our service, stick around for a few minutes and say hello as we go arond the Zoom room and spotlight different folks for a few seconds. It’s a fun tradition that developed as we’ve been worshipping together on Zoom. If you’d like a chance to be spotlighted, keep your video on!
