Women's Ministry
TCBC's Women's Ministry is designed for women age 18 on up. Our vision is to bring women together to be encouraged, edified, and equipped to live Christ-centered lives and serve Christ in their families, church, campus and community. There are several on-going events that take place throughout the school year and two annual events - a retreat and a Christmas program - that serve as great opportunities to invite friends.
On-going Events
Women’s Bible Studies
During the spring and fall semesters we offer Bible studies at several times throughout the week to accommodate different schedules. Check back in the fall 2010 to find out what study will be offered next.
International Women’s Connection
The IWC is an informal gathering of American and international women from around the world. Meetings take place on Wednesday mornings from 9-11 a.m. during the school year in the TCBC Fellowship Hall. IWC was established in 1987 as a place where international women could form friendships and share and learn from one another. Any woman is welcome to attend!
Annual Events
We’d love for you to join us for any of our annual women's ministry events as well. We start each year with a Women's Retreat and end the year with a Women's Christmas Evening.
A Women’s Christmas Evening
Our Fellowship Hall and Discipleland classroom are transformed into a Winter Wonderland each December and serve as a beautiful banquet area for this annual event. Individual tables are decorated and hosted by TCBC women who supply their personal decorations and dishes, adding to the festive atmosphere. Women are encouraged to invite their friends and co-workers to enjoy a delicious dessert buffet, which is followed by an inspirational program that is designed as an outreach.
TCBC Women’s Retreats
TCBC Women’s Retreats are designed to give women of all ages an opportunity to spend quality time with other women and with God in order to refresh and renew. Retreat weekends are made up of inspirational messages given by gifted women from the congregation, small groups, fellowship time, fun workshops and chocolate treats! Retreats usually begin on Friday evening and end with the Saturday evening meal.
