TCBC's Women's Ministry is designed for women age 18 on up. Our vision is to bring women together to be encouraged, edified, and equipped to live Christ-centered lives and serve Christ in their families, church, campus and community. There are several on-going events that take place throughout the school year and two annual events - a retreat and a Christmas program - that serve as great opportunities to invite friends.
Ongoing Events:
- Women's Bible Studies: During the spring and fall semesters we offer Women's Bible studies at several times throughout the week to accommodate different schedules.
- International Women’s Connection. The IWC is an informal gathering of American and international women from around the world. Meetings take place on Wednesday mornings from 9-11 a.m. during the school year in the TCBC Fellowship Hall. IWC was established in 1987 as a place where international women could form friendships and share and learn from one another. Any woman is welcome to attend!
Annual Events:
We’d love for you to join us for any of our annual women's ministry events as well. We start each year with a Women's Retreat and end the year with a Women's Christmas Evening.
- TCBC Women’s Retreats: April 12-13, 2013 are the dates of our next annual TCBC Women’s Retreat at Camp Warren, Decatur. Be sure to save these dates for an overnighter of fun, fellowship, and inspiration. No cooking, no dishes, no interruptions but a time for women to gather in true Christian fellowship and be spiritually refreshed. If you would like to help plan this event, please use the email contact form below.
- A Women’s Christmas Evening: Saturday, December 8, 2012 at TCBC Lincoln. Tickets will go on sale in the foyer at TCBC Lincoln or the Welcome Station at TCBC Midtown on Sunday, Nov. 18. Come and enjoy fine appetizers and a luscious dessert buffet in a beautiful setting followed by an inspirational program. Madeline Tsui, IV staff and TCBC member, will be the speaker this year. This evening provides an excellent opportunity to invite friends, co-workers, relatives or neighbors. It takes many people to help put on this event - table hostesses, ticket sellers, decorators, dessert makers, kitchen prep, etc. Sign up at the ticket sales table to be a part of this great event.
