 To me, the huge missing

To me, the huge missing piece to this week's sermon was the exploration of how men's lust and sexual objectification affects women. And--the assumption that women's sins of lust are just like
those of men. The rise of no-fault divorces is mentioned, but we do not probe why they might be so prevalent. So many men break covenants with their wives and the church leaves these married women ****no sense of respect**** when
naive preachers tell them that divorce is simply bad. Without repentance, can a relationship really be restored?

I see so many women today suffering the effects of sexual objectification (seeing themselves as little more than sexual objects) who then get married to
men who treat them as sexual objects. If we as evangelicals are going to shush women from preaching regularly from the pulpit, the least that male preachers can do is make an effort to consider women's perspectives on Biblical principles.
